The Special Areas Board maintains a large municipal road construction and maintenance program with over 300 pieces of equipment. The Board operates a modernized fleet of equipment and is focused on a detailed preventative maintenance program. The emphasis of this position will be on organizing, implementing and performing major lube service intervals both in the field and in a shop setting. This task will require exceptional organizational skills, sense of urgency and sufficient computer skills (Microsoft Excel and Word). Other duties may include analysis and repair of diesel engines, trucks (gravel, water and oil distribution), trailers, motor graders, scrapers, crawlers, tractors, various types of packers, and other types of smaller equipment.
